60 people were killed in flooding in Pakistan

Over the past 24 hours, Pakistan has been experiencing severe flooding in the Punjab area. This resulted in 60 deaths and around 300 injuries. Rescue helicopters and the military are currently carrying out rescue operations for people who remain in the flood.
The government warned the public that these rains and floods would continue until the end of the week.
