$57 million, 27 kg of gold and gold underwear found in MP's home
A massive anti-corruption raid in Iraq has reportedly found $57 million in cash, 27 kg of pure gold and gold underwear at the home of MP Hind al-Abbasi.
According to reports, 47 people, including MPs and senior officials, were arrested in raids in Baghdad and other areas on suspicion of corruption and embezzlement of public funds.
However, Iraqi authorities have not yet officially confirmed the search of Hind al-Abbasi's home and the wealth allegedly found there.
