Uzbek customs officials stopped the illegal importation of about 55 kilograms of narcotic drugs and artificial narcotics into the country. This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Committee.
It was reported that a light motor vehicle driven by a citizen of a neighboring state who entered the territory of the republic was inspected at the "Oybek" border customs post of the Tashkent region customs department. During the inspection, it was found that 49 pieces of different shapes were skillfully hidden in his gas cylinder and 31 pieces of polyethylene wraps in the gas tank.
When the packages were opened, according to the expert opinion of the Central Customs Laboratory, the substance inside them was 52 kilograms of 877 grams of hashish and more than 2 kilograms of heroin. It turned out.
