5 Uzbeks killed in Israel did not have Uzbek citizenship

According to the diplomatic mission, 5 citizens of Uzbekistan who immigrated in the 1990s were killed as a result of the attacks in the south of Israel. As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel reported earlier, three citizens of Uzbekistan were killed as a result of Hamas's attack on Israel.

The Uzbek embassy in Israel commented on this information and informed that the dead Uzbeks did not have Uzbek citizenship.

"During the attacks, 5 people who were born in Uzbekistan and moved to Israel under the repatriation program to the south of the country in the 1990s were killed. According to the received information, they have valid passports of citizens of Uzbekistan no," the report says.
