Nokia announced that it will launch a 4G mobile network on the moon by the end of this year. It will participate as part of the NASA-sponsored Artemis mission. According to Luis De Temino, the chief engineer of Nokia, the equipment will be sent to the earth satellite using a SpaceX rocket in the coming months. The Shackleton Crater at the Moon's South Pole was chosen to precisely place the infrastructure. According to the Finnish company, 4G will allow astronauts traveling to the Moon in the future to communicate with each other and with the KPM, remotely control equipment, transmit video and other data over the cellular network. In this case, cellular communication is more stable and reliable than traditional radio. Nokia will do this together with SpaceX.
