42 people were poisoned at the wedding in Samarkand

In one of the weddings in the Urgut District of the Samarkand region, 42 people were poisoned by the salad. This was reported by The Information Service of the sanitary and epidemiological committee.

According to him, the situation occurred at 05:30 on August 4 at the “untouchable father” wedding hall in the Urgut district, “Jarqishloq” neighborhood. 7 citizens who participated in the wedding event on August 3 with complaints such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and increased body temperature from 02:00 AM to 10:45 AM, 7 patients were admitted to the district infectious diseases department with a diagnosis of acute food toxicoinfection, and one patient to the regional infectious diseases hospital. 

In hospitals, patients are provided with qualified medical care. All patients attributed their diseases to mayonnaise salads, which were eaten at the “Stone father” wedding on August 3, 2023, in the second half of the day. 

As a result of the recorded case, epidemiological surveys conducted by specialists of the District Department of Sanepidkumita Urgut revealed that salads prepared by the wedding owner the day before the wedding, that is, on August 2, were served to the table. Salads were stored without a refrigerator in a home environment, where storage rules were not followed until they were placed on the table.

A door-to-door survey was conducted by medical staff to identify participants in the wedding, and 41 civilians who had been diagnosed with symptoms were admitted to the district infectious diseases hospital. The condition of patients is assessed as moderate, there are no patients in critical condition.
