On the evening of August 14, an explosion occurred at a car maintenance station in Makhachkala, the center of the Russian Republic of Dagestan. Foreign citizens were also injured in it.

The accident reportedly killed four Uzbek citizens. This was reported by Tass, relying on the press service of the head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov.

"According to preliminary data, four Uzbek citizens were killed in an explosion on the outskirts of Makhachkala. Assistance in the amount of 1 million rubles will be provided to the families of those killed," said a press officer of the head of Dagestan.

The message does not mention the Uzbek name.

A total of 35 people were killed and 119 injured in the explosion. The victims included 20 children, 3 of whom were killed.
