4 employees died while cleaning a sewage bunker in Andijan
On June 10, 4 employees died due to an accident at the central polyclinic in the Marhamat district of Andijan region.
A 57-year-old plumber was poisoned by gas while cleaning a sewage and wastewater bunker. A guard, an electrician, and a garbage truck driver who went into the bunker to clean it were also poisoned and died on the spot.
Emergency management personnel removed the bodies of the deceased from the bunker. The employees were poisoned and fell into the sewage. Situation A criminal case has been initiated under the amendments to the Criminal Code on labor correction. The trial is currently underway.
