The anti-corruption agency is continuing to monitor compliance with the legal requirements in purchases made by state customers. It was found out that a number of violations of the law were committed by some state customers during the remote monitoring activities. In particular, the purchase of sports inventory worth 286.0 million soums on August 2, 2023 under the order of the Zafarabad District Children's and Youth Sports School; Construction of a shed with a leather roof for the summer meetings of 912.4 million soums held by the Dzhokorg Council of the Republic of Karakalpakstan on August 4, 2023; Purchase of school uniforms worth 311.8 million soums on August 5, 2023 at the order of the Presidential School in the city of Samarkand in the system of the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions under the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Cases contrary to the law were found in state purchases of 300.0 million soums for the provision of transport services by the Kyziltepa district road use unitary enterprise on August 10, 2023. In particular, in these public procurements, Article 10 (principle of competition and impartiality), Article 14 (conflict of interests), Article 20 (rights and obligations of the procurement commission) of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On State Procurement" , Article 46 (restrictions in the process of public procurement) and a number of requirements of the Regulation approved by the Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the organization and conduct of procedures related to the implementation of public procurement" not implemented. In particular, the documents of applicants who participated in these purchases were uploaded to the electronic platform through the devices used by members of the procurement committee (with the same IP addresses), and the offers of some participants were evaluated contrary to the evaluation criteria specified in the procurement documents. In these cases, the Agency made submissions to the customers to cancel the reports of the purchase commissions, and the cases of violations of the law were eliminated. Also, the documents collected in connection with these cases were sent to the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office for a legal decision.
