30 Japanese volunteers have come to Uzbekistan to participate in the "Green Space" national project, which is being implemented at the initiative of the head of our state, "Dunyo" AA correspondent reports.
The trip of Japanese volunteers to our country was organized by the OISCA organization with the support of our country's embassy in Japan. During the visit, Japanese volunteers, together with the students of Karakalpakstan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-Technology, plan to plant 10,000 tree saplings on 10 hectares of dry bottom of the Aral Sea.
OISCA (The Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement) is a non-governmental international organization founded in Tokyo in 1961.
This organization has been implementing a number of environmental protection projects in our country since 2015. In particular, the project of greening 40,000 hectares of the dry area of the Aral Sea for 10 years starting from 2022 is being implemented by OISCA.
