During 5 months of this year, 393 traffic accidents were recorded in Tashkent city, in which 29 citizens were killed and 364 citizens were injured in various degrees. 240 accidents were committed by pedestrians. It was found that in 99 percent of accidents, drivers do not follow traffic rules and pedestrians cross the road in unmarked places.
