26 people have lost their lives to date, with 12 missing, as a result of heavy rains and floods in South Korea that have been falling for 5 days. The highest damage was reported in Sanchon, Gapyong and Gyeongnam provinces. More than 7,500 people were evacuated, and the power and communication system in some areas was not working.
Survivors continue to search for the missing.
