24-year-old woman dies after plastic surgery in Bukhara

A 24-year-old woman, Shahrizabegim Kholiqova, born in 2001, died after undergoing plastic surgery in the city of Bukhara. According to her relatives, necessary medical tests were not fully conducted, and the surgery was performed despite her low hemoglobin levels.

After the operation, her condition worsened. The doctor reportedly transfused blood taken from a clinic employee, which caused kidney failure. She was admitted to intensive care and fought for her life for about a month.

On October 24, while being transported to Tashkent, her heart stopped. She left behind two children — a 6-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter.
