23-year-old woman attempted to jump from a bridge in Andijan

A video showing a young woman attempting to jump from a bridge has circulated on social media. The incident occurred today at around 8:00 a.m. on Navoiy Avenue in Andijan Region. According to reports, the woman, born in 2003, attempted to take her own life due to a deteriorated mental condition.
An оперативно arriving investigation team and other emergency services managed to save her life. The prosecutor’s office is currently conducting an inquiry into the incident.

Earlier, a similar case in Samarkand, where a woman was rescued after attempting to jump from a height, was also reported.
