20-year-old man in India cleans a garbage-filled river single-handedly
In India’s Madhya Pradesh state, 20-year-old student Surendra Singh Chaudhary, known on social media as “Bittu Tabahi,” single-handedly cleaned the polluted Ajnar River.
He began the cleanup in January 2026 and has been filming the process and sharing the videos on social media.
Bittu does not plan to stop, as people continue to throw garbage into the river. He now plans to expand his river-cleaning efforts. His work has received widespread support from people on social media.
