20 servicemen killed in Turkish military plane crash in Georgia

A Turkish S-130 military plane crashed in Georgia. All 20 servicemen on board were killed in the incident.
The plane took off from Azerbaijan's Ganja airport at 14:19 local time on November 11 and briefly disappeared from radar. Its remains were found near the Kholagiri monastery in Georgia's Sighnaghi district, bordering Azerbaijan.
The dead servicemen have been identified and their names have been officially announced. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a statement in connection with the incident, saying, "I wish our people patience for our martyred soldiers." The Georgian side has opened a criminal case on possible violations of aviation safety rules. The investigation is being conducted jointly with Turkey and Azerbaijan.
