Nipah outbreak in India. Two people died from this virus in the southern Indian state of Kerala. The Sanepid Committee gave an explanation regarding these reports.
According to him, the World Health Organization has provided information about the Nipah virus outbreak in the Indian state of Kerala. As of September 22 this year, six cases of Nipah have been confirmed and two deaths have occurred. Businessmen or Uzbeks planning to travel to India are advised to follow the following recommendations to avoid the virus:
compliance with personal hygiene rules;
wash fruits thoroughly before eating;
boil and drink freshly squeezed date juice;
Avoid eating fruits that have been scratched or bitten by bats.
Nipah is a type of virus that causes a serious illness with inflammation of the brain or respiratory tract.
