An agreement within the framework of which educational institutions will be built was signed between the government of the republic and the Saudi Development Fund
The construction of several new educational institutions is planned in Tajikistan.
A corresponding agreement was signed between the government of the republic and the Saudi Development Fund.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan.
According to the document, a project will be implemented to build and equip 19 secondary schools.
This agreement was signed by the Minister of Finance of Tajikistan Faiziddin Kakhhorzoda and the Director General of the Saudi Development Fund Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad.
“The construction of 19 new modern schools is planned in cities and regions of the country; after their full completion and commissioning, 30 thousand students will be provided with places,” the document says.
The project will support the implementation of a comprehensive education system to improve the quality of education in Tajikistan.

The total cost of the project is $20 million and is entirely financed by concessional loans from the Saudi Development Fund.
The implementation of this project will begin in 2023, and its completion is expected in 2028.
