18-year-old man detained for attempting to break into ATM with an axe
In the Gulistan district of the Syrdarya region, an 18-year-old man attempted to break into an ATM and steal the cash inside.
The incident occurred on September 12 at 03:16 on Komiliy Street in the "Oltin Vodiy" neighborhood. An alarm signal from the ATM was received by the Security Service's monitoring center. Officers arriving at the scene discovered a young man—his face concealed and holding an axe—in the act of breaking into the ATM. He attempted to flee but was apprehended.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
