Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Company handed over the first 18-meter electric bus to Toshshahartranskhizmat. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport on Monday. "In the near future, this modern, comfortable and environmentally friendly electric bus will start serving the capital's residents," the report said. News about the arrival of these public transports in Tashkent was spread at the end of August, but there was no news about the purchase of such electric buses for the capital. At the beginning of April, a ceremony of handing over 268 buses and electric buses brought from China was held in "New Uzbekistan" park. 101 of these public transport vehicles are electric buses, 109 are gas-powered (12-meter) buses, and 48 are large-capacity ("harmoshka") buses. These buses and electric buses are manufactured by King Long and Yutong companies. Source: Daryo.uz
