In a village in Kazakhstan’s Turkistan region, a 15-year-old schoolgirl gave birth to a child fathered by her 71-year-old neighbor, who, according to some reports, may also be a relative.
The girl’s pregnancy was discovered only in the seventh month, and she gave birth in February. The suspect was later arrested and placed in a temporary detention facility.

According to Turkistan regional police, a criminal case has been opened, and an investigation is underway.
Following the incident, local residents demanded that the suspect’s family leave the village.
