The tragedy happened when people going to Armenia gathered at the warehouse to get gas. At least 125 people died as a result of the explosion of a gas depot in Nagorno-Karabakh, and their bodies were brought to Armenia. Anahit Avanesyan, Minister of Health of Armenia, informed about this. "Today we brought the bodies of 125 people who died in the explosion in Nagorno-Karabakh. They were brought to the appropriate department of the forensic center and their identity will be determined. We will publish the information obtained in this process," said the minister. Avanesian also said that 67 other victims are now in the National Burn Center, most of them in serious or critical condition. An explosion occurred in the evening of September 25 at a gas depot near the Stepanakert-Askeran highway in Nagorno-Karabakh. The large number of victims is explained by the fact that fuel was distributed in the warehouse to people going to Armenia. Later, the Ministry of Health of Armenia reported that 20 people were killed and 290 others were injured as a result of the explosion. The department clarified that dozens of people are in critical condition.
