125 bushes of trees in the Bukhara conservation area were cut down

A total of 125 Bushes were illegally cut in the protection zone of Peshku District of Bukhara region. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor general's office.

Growing trees were cut in the protection zone of the zandani canal flowing through the territory of the neighborhoods of “Independence”, “sister”, “Yangibazor”, “Sadir” and “Malishoyak” of the District, 23 of which were low-value, 102 were valuable trees.

The initial conclusion was that over Rs 1.7 billion of damage to nature was caused by tree felling in the area.

A criminal case was initiated by the prosecutor's Office of the Bukhara region in connection with the identified violations and sent to the internal affairs bodies for conducting preliminary investigative actions.

It is noted that the prosecutor's control over the investigation of this criminal case is established.
