12 billion soums will be allocated for planting flowers in Tashkent

On September 19, the next session of the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies was held, where a decision was made to allocate 12 billion soums for planting seasonal flowers in the capital. The text of the decision is posted on the E-Decision portal. According to the decision, the deputies approved the allocation of 6.2 billion soums for expenses related to planting seasonal flowers in Tashkent city in 2023, and 5.8 billion soums for planting flower seedlings in district improvement departments. Also, 3.7 billion soums will be allocated to specialized departments within the system of the Tashkent City Development General Department. These funds are used for maintenance of improvement objects in the system with vehicles and workers, mechanical and manual cleaning, sprinkling of water, cleaning of streets during the monsoon period, sprinkling of sand-salt mixture in the winter season, clearing of snow piles, it is noted that it is allocated based on export, landscaping works and production needs, fuel prices have increased. In addition, 1.49 billion soums will be allocated for the improvement of the Abod neighborhood in Yunusabad district of the capital, the implementation of engineering networks and internal road repair works. In addition, it was noted that 210 million soums will be allocated for the improvement of Yunusabad neighborhood in the district, development of project-estimate documents for the repair of engineering networks and internal roads.
