In the US state of Pennsylvania, an 11-year-old boy shot and killed his father after his video game console was taken away. The father took his son's video game console because it was bedtime. The boy, enraged by this, searched the device at night while everyone was sleeping and found the key to the gun safe in the house and took a revolver from the safe. Then he loaded the gun and shot his 42-year-old father, who was sleeping.
According to state law, the boy was charged with murder as an adult, despite his age. He was brought to the courtroom in handcuffs.
