11 Convicted in Tashkent Kindergarten Mass Poisoning Case

Aziz Abidov, head of the Supreme Court’s press service, announced the conclusion of an open trial regarding the criminal case linked to the poisoning of nearly two thousand children in several preschool institutions in Tashkent region. It was noted that in September 2025, cases of child poisoning were recorded in kindergartens in Bekobod, Boka, Oqqo‘rg‘on, Piskent, and Quyi Chirchiq districts. As a result, 11 individuals were found guilty under relevant articles of the Criminal Code for violating sanitary legislation and epidemic control rules.

According to the court ruling, the director, chief technologist, and technologist of Shark Milk Product LLC were sentenced to 3.5 years in prison. Three other employees of the company received 3‑year prison terms. Additionally, the heads of Governess Business, Innavation Outsourcing Servise, Nishon Invest, Kinder Garden Group LLC, as well as a laboratory employee of Shark Milk Product, were sentenced to 3 years of restricted freedom.

Furthermore, all defendants were deprived of certain rights under the court’s decision.
