100 citizens are being sent to Hajj free of charge based on presidential orders

At the initiative of the President, 100 Uzbeks are being sent on a free Hajj trip. This was reported in a report by the Uzbek 24 TV channel.

Among them are mahalla chairmen, labor veterans, doctors, scientists, ordinary workers, and citizens who have worked in various fields for many years. In particular, orientalist scholar Mukhlisaxon Ziyovuddinova, Doctor of Medical Sciences Abduvohid Sodikov and a number of other citizens will go on a Hajj trip on the basis of a presidential order.

It is reported that more than 15 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan are planned to be sent to Saudi Arabia during the 2026 Hajj season. The cost of the Hajj pilgrimage is set at 77 million 73 thousand soums per person. Pilgrims will fly directly to Medina from the airports of Tashkent, Namangan, Fergana, Andijan, Samarkand, Bukhara, Karshi, Termez and Urgench.
