10-month-old baby's intestines removed due to fast food

A 10-month-old baby whose intestines rotted after eating fast food was removed in Tashkent. A mother who was coming to Tashkent from the region bought fast food for lunch on the way and fed her crying and fussing 10-month-old baby some fast food. Soon after, the baby's condition worsened, and symptoms such as internal bleeding, vomiting, and abdominal distension appeared. Doctors removed the rotted part of the intestine and created an intestinal stoma. The baby will live with this stoma for 6 months, then another operation will be performed and the intestine will be restored.

Doctors recommend feeding a child only with breast milk up to 3 years of age. After 1 year, complementary foods can be given.
