10,000 people in Iran left without water following U.S. strikes

As a result of U.S. strikes on water desalination facilities in southern Iran, about 10,000 residents of 20 villages in Jask County, Hormozgan Province, were left without drinking water.
According to reports, the missile strikes damaged water treatment facilities and power generation plants.

The conflict between the United States and Iran has entered a new phase. On the night of July 12, U.S. forces struck around 140 targets across Iranian territory, along the Persian Gulf coast, and near the Strait of Hormuz. Since July 7, the United States has launched more than 300 strikes against Iran’s military and strategic facilities. The attacks targeted missile and drone bases, naval facilities, ammunition depots, communication networks, and coastal reconnaissance posts.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced on July 8 that the truce with Iran had come to an end.
