1 Trillion sums Allocated for New Gastronomic Streets in Tashkent

Tashkent plans to build new 24 km-long tourist and gastronomic streets, with ₩1 trillion to be allocated for the project in 2026. The city’s mayor, Shavkat Umurzakov, announced this in an interview with “O‘zbekiston 24”.

According to the project, the 24 km area will feature round-the-clock gastronomic zones, creating 20,000–30,000 new jobs. Umurzakov noted that this will be one of the city’s most significant initiatives, expected to generate over 100,000 jobs in the long term.
