$1 million hydroelectric power plant is being built in Andijan

In Andijan, where the first private micro-hydroelectric power plant was launched in Uzbekistan, the next effective actions are underway. The construction of another hydroelectric power station in Ulugnor district has started as part of the works carried out on the basis of the tasks set by the head of state to improve and stabilize the electricity supply of the population. It is reported that the cost is 1 million dollars and it is intended to supply more than 500 households with continuous electricity. These projects are implemented in order to ensure the implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to accelerate the introduction of renewable energy sources and energy-saving technologies in 2023" PQ-57.
