1.2 billion dollars will be attracted to finance small businesses in Uzbekistan

According to the presidential decree "On additional measures to widely involve the population in small and medium-sized businesses" for 2024-2026, the main objectives of the activities of "Business Development Bank" ADB and "Entrepreneurship Development Company" JSC 'indicators have been set.

In particular, with the document, the following is carried out according to the "Business Development Bank" ADB:

by increasing the balance of loans allocated to small business entities by 1.7 times, increasing its share in the loan portfolio from 28% to 43%;
attract resources from international financial institutions and foreign private financial organizations in the amount of up to 1.2 billion US dollars for financing small business projects;
Issuance of bonds (eurobonds) in the amount of 300 million US dollars in international capital markets;
Establishing and expanding the activities of 150,000 small business entities.
According to "Entrepreneurship Development Company" JSC:

increase the volume of financial services provided to small and medium-sized enterprises from 8 trillion soums to 14 trillion soums;
Investment in 150 medium-sized enterprises and sale of 300 projects to business entities on the basis of service mortgages;
increase the number of medium-sized business entities by 2.5 times;
Issuance of bonds (eurobond) in the amount of 300 million US dollars in international capital markets.
