Uzbekistan and South Korea to strengthen cooperation on critical minerals

Uzbekistan and South Korea will expand cooperation in the processing of critical minerals, as well as in the development of transport and railway infrastructure.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received South Korean Prime Minister Han Song Suk at his residence in Seoul. The meeting focused on further strengthening strategic partnership in trade and economic relations, investment, technology, and transport and logistics.

The sides agreed to develop cooperation in the processing of critical minerals by using South Korea’s advanced technologies and Uzbekistan’s raw material resources.

The prospects for partnership in digital economy, cybersecurity, trade, finance, and investment were also discussed.
