"WE DRESS IN TAJIK." Under this name, the culture of wearing clothes is represented throughout Tajikistan

From March 1 to May 30, in all cities and districts of the republic, local authorities and ministries and departments, the action "We dress in Tajik" will be held, which is a sign of the civilization and rich culture of the Tajik people, the correspondent of NIAT "Khovar" reports.

Each nation and nation has its own national costumes and pays tribute to the high culture of their ancestors. Tajik clothing, which has an ancient history and is considered an integral part of the national culture, is a reflection of the Tajik people who love the beauty of aesthetics.

In this regard, as well as in order to observe the correct image of clothing and popularize national clothing, the "Recommended Clothing Manual for girls and women of Tajikistan" was published and presented to the citizens of the country. This manual is of a recommendatory nature and was created in order to regulate the style of national clothing.

It is important and responsible for every citizen to wear the recommended national clothes in the name of today and tomorrow of the nation. Wearing national clothes reduces the intensity of penetration of foreign clothes and culture into our country. Parents and all institutions related to this issue, acting together, can protect the national culture and prestige of dear Tajikistan in the context of globalization.

"For girls and women, it is not recommended to wear black clothes, black scarf, satra and hijab, semi-naked European clothes, mini-skirts, cleavage, top, thin body-revealing dresses, as well as walking in public places in galoshes, flip-flops, wearing underwear, nightgowns, underwear, tight trousers, revealing prominent parts of the body, clothing made of synthetic fabrics that are harmful to health", — It is stated in the eleventh section of the "Handbook of recommended clothing for girls and women of Tajikistan", published in 2018 by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan and presented to the citizens of the country.

This instruction has been developed in order to observe the style of clothing and popularize national costumes, and the Ministry of Culture and its local structures, together with the committees for work with women and family, youth and sports, executive bodies of state authorities of regions, cities and districts, to assist in its implementation.

It should be noted that the Leader of the Nation at a meeting with activists and communities of the country on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the regulation of traditions, celebrations and rituals in the Republic of Tajikistan" when wearing someone else's clothes stressed the following: "We need to put an end to the shameful manifestations of foreign culture as soon as possible, promote the national clothes of girls and women more, block the way to prejudice, and intensify awareness-raising among women."
