The State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan held a seminar on the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the UNESCO Convention
The seminar on the topic "Study of national heritage: from mentor to student" at the State Academy of Arts was timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This is reported by the daily newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan".
The participants of the seminar were the presentations of cultural institutions of five velayats of the country, masters of decorative and applied arts, employees of libraries and museums, teachers and students of the State Academy of Arts, and the press.
Each speaker of the seminar prepared an informative message, many of which were accompanied by thematic video and musical design. The Academy of Arts performed poems and sounds of melodies played on national instruments. Speakers through spectacular presentations spoke about the large-scale work carried out in the country to collect, preserve and study the intangible heritage of the Turkmen people.
