The heads of the internal affairs bodies of the CIS countries will gather in Turkestan

ASTANA, Sep 6 - Sputnik. The Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS states will be held in Turkestan on September 15. This was reported by the Bureau for Coordinating the Fight against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crime on the Territory of the States Members of the Commonwealth of Independent States

At the summit, the bureau noted, they plan to consider issues related to the implementation of an interstate search, the fight against cybercrime and drug trafficking, and combating crime in transport.

In addition, the ministers will discuss the implementation of the interstate program of joint measures to combat crime for 2019-2023 and sum up the results of joint operational and preventive measures and special operations.

The meeting will be attended by delegations from the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center and the Organized Crime Coordination Bureau.
