The head of the Ministry of Economic Development of Tajikistan revealed the indicators of foreign trade turnover

Graduates from Tajikistan show high interest in Russian higher education.
This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Valery Falkov.
He noted that more than 28 thousand places out of 30 thousand allocated by quota in universities have already been filled by foreigners.
“Preliminarily, the data that universities give us is no less, and a number of universities scored more than last year,” the minister shared.
Thus, according to him, graduates from the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States are especially motivated to receive education in Russia.
Accordingly, in addition to Tajiks, the leaders are representatives of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus.
“The SCO and BRICS countries are going further: China and Egypt are well represented. In this sense, this year, I believe, will not be an exception; we will reach the declared number,” Falkov concluded.
Earlier, the Center for International Programs of Tajikistan reported a record return of specialists to their homeland after receiving education abroad.

According to official data, more than 90% of Tajik students returned to the republic, found suitable jobs, and are now contributing to the progress and development of important industries.
It is noted that education costs are paid from the special fund of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
One of the requirements for the center’s assistance in placing Tajik students in foreign universities is that applicants must acquire the specialty that the country needs.
