The EAEU approved a unified form of oil passport - Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan
ASTANA, September 9 – Sputnik. A single form of passport for oil released into circulation on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union has been approved, reports the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
“By decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated August 29, 2023 89, changes were made to the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union “On the safety of oil prepared for transportation and (or) use” (EAEU TR 045/2017),” the message says.
According to the adopted changes:
a unified form of passport for oil released into circulation on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union and rules for filling it out have been approved;
Certain provisions of the technical regulations have been clarified regarding the content of the oil passport;
it is stipulated that the frequency of oil testing is established in the standards included in the list of standards for test methods to the technical regulations.
The new norms will ensure the formation of uniform approaches to the production of oil and its circulation on the territory of the Union, including in terms of documentation, according to the Eurasian Economic Commission.
