The Days of Culture of Baku and Tashkent will be held in the capitals of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan
Bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was discussed during the meeting. O. Khokim of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov with a delegation led by the Chairman of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora of Azerbaijan Fuad Muradov.

Umurzakov congratulated the guests on the past 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, a well-known Azerbaijani political and public figure. Events in honor of this date were also held in Tashkent.
"Highlighting the progressive development of bilateral relations on the basis of documents and agreements signed at high-level meetings of the heads of the two states, he noted that there is a great untapped potential in the economy, services, culture, tourism, education and other areas. In particular, for the purposes of to accelerate cultural cooperation, he proposed holding the Days of Baku in Tashkent and the Days of Tashkent in Baku.
In turn, Muradov highly appreciated the improvement and landscaping of Tashkent and expressed gratitude for the respect and attention to the culture of Azerbaijan, as well as to more than 40 thousand Azerbaijanis living in the capital of Uzbekistan.
The parties agreed to continue the practical dialogue, develop friendly and partnership relations.
