With the victory of tennis players from Turkmenistan over the men's and women's teams of Macau, the qualifying tournament of the World Tennis Championship for juniors under 14 years old began. This was reported in the online publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age".

In the qualifying tournament U-14, which started in Colombo (Sri Lanka), the national teams of 15 countries take part. The tournament will end on February 18.

The teams participating in the qualification qualifiers are divided into 4 groups. The women's team of Turkmenistan entered the group "B" along with tennis players from Macau, Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan. The men's national team of Turkmenistan, together with teams from Macau, Cambodia and Saudi Arabia, formed group "D".
