Tariffs for a number of medical services increased in Azerbaijan

For specialized outpatient medical care, the tariff for examination by a qualified doctor has been increased from 17 to 25 manats.

BAKU, August 12 - Sputnik. Amendments have been made to the "Package of services for compulsory health insurance", approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance (CHI), in accordance with the amendments, tariffs for 1,390 medical services have been changed and brought into line with current market prices.

For laboratory services:
- Hepatitis B surface antibodies (HBsAb) - tariff increased from 5 to 16 manats;
- calciferol (vitamin D) - tariff increased from 13 to 21 manats.
For inpatient medical services:
- help during childbirth - the tariff was increased from 350 to 500 manats.
- surgery for coronary bypass grafting of one coronary artery - the tariff was increased from 4,000 to 4,500 manats.
