Tajikistan switches to non-cash: who will ensure the security of payments?

The Government of Tajikistan instructed the National Bank, together with the Communications Service and other responsible institutions, to ensure the security of cashless payments

The security of non-cash payments is ensured in cooperation with mobile operators in accordance with international standards.

This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Communications Service of Tajikistan Ihomjon Atoev during a press conference.

He stressed that all companies providing mobile and Internet communications are required to comply with international regulations to ensure information security.

How much did the Communications Service earn in the first half of the year?

Atoev mentioned that from August 1, according to the order of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, payment for all paid public services will be carried out in a non-cash manner.

In addition, the Communications Service, together with other enterprises and organizations, is working on the introduction of cashless payments throughout the country.

"It is necessary to ensure the security of payment systems. In addition to constant communication, backup networks will also be created," Atoev said.

The Deputy Chairman of the Communications Service of Tajikistan also noted the importance of registering citizens' SIM cards for the new 2014 passports. According to him, this will increase the level of security in the republic.

At the same time, all users of the mobile Internet must register mobile wallets and cards only for themselves, the deputy chairman of the department emphasized.
