Tajik specialists are employed in the UK and the Republic of Korea

The geography for the work of labor migrants - citizens of Tajikistan is expanding annually. Today they go to work not only in Russia and Kazakhstan, but also in other countries, the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan said during a press conference.

"Last year, 383 Tajik citizens were employed in the UK and 58 in the Republic of Korea. In order to diversify migration processes, the State Institution "Center for Counseling and Pre-Entry Training of Labor Migrants" in Dushanbe signed cooperation agreements with the UK and the Republic of Korea," the ministry said.

Over the past year, the State Institution "Agency for Employment Abroad" employed 2013 people on applications for vacancies from foreign employers, including in Russia - 1709 people, Kazakhstan - 223 people, Turkey - 29 people, Poland - 35 people, Romania - 11 people and the United Arab Emirates - 6 people.

In order to develop international relations, the Ministry has signed 30 international documents with 12 countries, including 10 intergovernmental agreements and 20 bilateral interdepartmental documents, the implementation of which continues.
