ASTANA, Sep 5 - Sputnik. Today the deputies of the Shymkent maslikhat will gather for a meeting, the main issue on the agenda of which will be the consent to the appointment of the city akim.

The announcement of the meeting was posted on the website of the representative body of Shymkent.

"In accordance with paragraphs 5.6 of the "Rules for giving consent by deputies of maslikhats located in the region, or maslikhats of cities of republican significance and the capital for appointment to the post of akim of the region, city of republican significance and the capital", approved by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 8, 2022 year No. 912, a meeting of deputies of the maslikhat of the city of Shymkent will be held," the message says.
