KOKSHETAU, August 26 - Sputnik. Volodya Krinberg from the village of Arykty, Korgalzhyn district, Akmola region, saved another boy at the cost of his life. The feat and tragedy took place at the end of July. The head of the Department of Emergency Situations presented the relatives of the 14-year-old hero with a posthumous award - a medal, Sputnik Kazakhstan correspondent reports.

The tragedy happened on July 29 near the village of Sardybai, Korgalzhyn district. Vladimir Grinberg was vacationing with his family on the Nura River. At some point, the teenager noticed that a 12-year-old child began to drown in the water. Not at a loss, Volodya rushed to help the drowning man. At the same time, adults ran up, after which the boy's father lifted his son out of the water.

“Ignoring the cost of his own life, Vladimir Grinberg tried to save a drowning man on the water - even though he can’t swim. Unfortunately, without calculating his own strength, the boy began to drown, because there was a strong whirlpool in this place. No one could help help him," the press service of the Department of Emergency Situations of the Akmola region noted.

The medal "Suga batqandardy kutkargany ushin" was awarded to the relatives of the young hero posthumously. This is an award for courage and dedication shown in an extreme situation related to saving human life.

The boy was brought to her death by order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Syrym Sharipkhanov. The head of the department, Nurlan Atygaev, expressed sincere condolences to the parents of the child.

It is worth recalling that since the beginning of the swimming season, 13 people have drowned in the waters of the Akmola region, five of them are children.

The Department of Emergency Situations of the Akmola region reminds of the need to comply with the rules of behavior on the water.
