Representatives of the AFC Refereeing Department visited Dushanbe on a working visit
Within the framework of the project of the Asian Football Confederation on the development of refereeing administration, representatives of the refereeing department of the AFC visited Tajikistan on a working visit, FFT reports.
Every year, the Asian Football Confederation selects three countries for the refereeing development administration project. This year, Tajikistan was among the countries where the project is being implemented.
The task of the refereeing development administration project is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the refereeing departments and committees of the countries that are members of the AFC.
During a visit to Tajikistan, the head of the administration of the AFC refereeing department, Hirokuzo Abe, and the manager of the administrative project of the AFC refereeing department, Rii Chengseok, held working meetings with the leadership of the Football Federation of Tajikistan - vice-president Alisher Urunov, who is the chairman of the refereeing committee of the FTF and the general secretary of Furkat Akhmedzhanov, as well as head of the department of refereeing and inspection of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustam Abdulloev.
Also during the working visit, representatives of the refereeing department of the AFC visited the matches of the sixteenth round of the championship of Tajikistan-2023 "Istiklol" - "Regar-TadAZ" and "Kuktosh" - "Fayzkand".
As a result of the visit, practical advice was offered to improve the training of arbitrators in Tajikistan.
