Olimjon Muhammadjonzoda, Chairman of the Committee on Language and Terminology of the Republic, reported on this achievement.

It is noted that the Mozilla Firefox setup program in the Tajik language was created.

"The Tajik language, which is among the ten languages of the Network among 190 languages, with such an Internet program demonstrates its real potential and opportunities in the world, is represented in world programs," he stressed.

In addition, Olimjon Muhammadjonzoda drew attention to the time spent to achieve such a goal.

"The committee's programming specialists have been working on the development of the Mozilla Firefox settings program for more than 2 years and finally achieved success," the chairman of the department stated.

It is believed that such a measure will serve the development of the Tajik language in the country.

Earlier, Tajikistan launched a program to increase the number of GSM base stations, said Deputy Head of the Communications Service of the Republic Ilhomjon Atoev.

According to the agency, over the past six months, mobile operators in Tajikistan have installed about 443 base stations, most of which belong to Bavilon-Mobile, Tacom and TT Mobile. At the same time, since the beginning of 2023, about 60 former base stations have been modernized in the republic.
