Kyrgyzstan was in the list of countries with the highest crime rate
Kyrgyzstan was on the list of countries with the highest crime rate. In the World Population Review study, our country is listed on the 31st place out of 136.
It is noted that the crime index in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2023 is 56.87.
The top five with the highest crime rates, according to the authors of the study, are as follows:
- Venezuela (83.76);
- Papua New Guinea (80.79);
- South Africa (76.86);
- Afghanistan (76.31);
- Honduras (74.54).
The lowest crime rate in the world, experts say, is registered in Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Japan and New Zealand.
