Kazakhstan and Russia implemented 26 joint projects
As part of a working trip to Moscow, Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Kazinform reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.
In July 2022, Kazakhstan successfully acted as a partner country at the International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom-2022 in Yekaterinburg. As a result, Joint Action Programs and 27 bilateral agreements were signed, which are aimed at strengthening cooperation at a new level.
The head of the department Marat Karabayev noted that this year domestic industrial enterprises will take part in the international exhibition "INNOPROM", which will be held in Yekaterinburg.
In addition, a visiting industrial exhibition "INNOPROM Kazakhstan" is planned to be held in Astana in September this year with the participation of the Head of State, as well as national expositions and individual companies from the EAEU countries, Pakistan, Turkey, India, Iran, Azerbaijan.
The head of the department also met with representatives of about 25 manufacturing enterprises.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of light industry and the production of building materials, as well as topical issues of personnel training for the chemical industry. By the way, industrial cooperation is the main direction of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
"Industrial cooperation plays a special role among the areas of our cooperation. To date, 26 joint projects have been successfully implemented and 23 major projects are being implemented with the creation of more than 7 thousand jobs," the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan noted.
Also, as part of a working trip to Moscow, the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabayev met with the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the neighboring state Irek Fayzullin, the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev, the head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Nikolai Shulginov. The parties discussed cooperation in the development of the construction industry, issues of Kazakh-Russian cooperation on the development of road transport, as well as the preparation of a draft bilateral intergovernmental agreement in the field of freight and passenger road transport.
