As part of the program to popularize sports, the “Friendship Run” was held in Dushanbe.

The competition was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Matlubahon Satoriyon, Chairman of the country’s Youth and Sports Committee Abdullo Rakhmonzoda, Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe Dilbar Odilzoda and others.

In total, 3 thousand people took part in the race, including teachers and university students, the department noted.

At the opening ceremony of the “Friendship Run,” the Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan and the Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe congratulated those present on the 32nd anniversary of the state’s independence.

It is noted that the event began with the playing of the country's national anthem.

Food fairs continue in Dushanbe parks

The start of the 4 km long race was at the gates of the Navruzgokh park to the Tovus roundabout.

Based on the results of the competition, the first 100 people who reached the finish line were awarded a certificate from the Committee of Youth and Sports of Tajikistan, as well as certificates of honor from the organizing committee.
